About The Event
Our philosophy at Carrick is that we are guardians of our land and look to continuous improvement of our soils and site through certified organic management, developing biodiversity, and looking after the people who look after our site.
Wine is our expression of our place and we have pursued organics as a path where this can best be reflected. We have been farming organically since 2008 because we believe that what goes into our soils effects the water we are surrounded by, which in turn effects our community.
Endeavouring to create biodiversity and sustainability on our site, we have a native plant nursery, only use natural yeasts in our fermentations, grow herbs and vegetables on-site for our restaurant, plan vineyard cover crops, compost organic materials, and recycle or reuse packaging and waste.Wine & Food Match:
